Have You Received All That Jesus Paid For You?

Why
Do you know that there is a love so great that it surpasses knowledge? It is a love that brings forgiveness for sins, and freedom from the bondage of sin. It is a love that produces healing and wholeness in your body and mind. It is a love that reveals the special purpose for your life, using your unique gifting and talents. It is a love that enables you to live your life in fullness, connected to and guided by your creator. It is a love that creates such life not only on this earth, but for all of eternity with God.
This love is a person, and his name is Jesus.

The problem is that without Jesus in our lives, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Humans are stuck in a never-ending cycle of sin. No matter how much we want, we cannot stop sinning on our own. The wages of sin is death.
But the good news is that God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Jesus came to earth as a man, and laid down his life for us. His death on the cross paid for our sins, and brings us forgiveness. His ultimate sacrifice sets us free from the bondage of sin, and restores us to right relationship with God.
He was risen to life again and reigns in heaven. He wants you to know him and be with him, now and for all time.
Everyone without Jesus has a void in their lives, and they try to fill that void with other things. We find real contentment only by having Jesus in our lives.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for every one of us. It is the greatest gift ever given. He paid it for you. Have you received his gift? It does not happen automatically. It is up to you.
It starts by declaring your belief in him.
Now
Confess the following with your mouth, and believe in your heart:
Jesus, I am sorry for my sins, please forgive me. I believe you died on the cross for me and were risen to life again. I receive you as my Savior and Lord. Fill me with the Holy Spirit, and give me a passion for you. Amen.
